Overlook. Appropriate name allright. I don't think the medical staff there even notice their patients. Treatment is completely substandard, haphazard and contrary to accepted recommendations.

The nurses who work in the Chemo day room at ,Overlook Hospital, are the best there is. A special week is celebrated as Nurses Day(week). The nurses who work here are the most compassionate, caring, intelligent and understanding women and should be celebrated daily. They truly deserve kudos not because of their "job" but because they love helping people during some difficult time of their lives. I new word should be developed, as "thank you" just doesn't seem enough. You ladies know who you are and so do the patients who love all of you. Kudos also to the rest of the staff and volunteers who take care of us as if we were family. ❤️

Please DONOT go there for delivering a baby! Please . I am a very patient person, but When I went to hospital for my second baby in 2016.I was in pain so I grabbed the nurse wrist tightly, and she pulled it back saying no no, not with me baby....do this with your husband and she seemed really pissed . Such ignorant staff! When I was leaving the hospital, the releasing nurse saw the file , that they didn’t even give my baby bath so she did it after 4 days. I was there alone as my husband was with my toddler twins and I kept ringing bell but no body showed up. They just throw your baby at your face, early in the morning that nobody is there to take care of it in the Nursery ,so keep it with you. Even if you just had a c-section and don’t have any help. They turned their hospital baby friendly, which is actually they cut down the staff and now you keep calling the nurse and there is no response.

My experience was not that pleasant. The nurses are rude and the staff only "care" for people who are well off. A loved one of mine went through a traumatic experience and instead of the staff being sympathetic and caring for my loved one, they told them to leave before a full recovery! I know it had something to with their income because the staff were so concerned with their "place of employment and monthly income and if they have any financial assistance." Not every family has the income to afford their overpriced hospital charges! If you have enough money to foot the bill they'll take good care of you.

My twins were born there in 2015 and it was way much better back then . But now I would never go back there again.

They were so great and supportive and explained everything to me. I live in NY and was happy that I got to this ER doctors and nurses and other helpers were very much competent and courteous to my needs and situation. Thank God for all those who were apart of my team to help me prepare for surgery, during the surgery and after the surgery. A big thank you to my GYN and surgeon Dr. Lubin not sure if I have the correct spelling of her name. But she was very positive and I’m glad she was able to do the surgery. God bless you all richly and continue be a blessing to the patients.
