the meetings
I found the 9am kids service amazing! There were little kids everywhere. They were kinda loud and some a bit crazy so I didn't feel self concise about my kids... the Rectors Matthew, Nate and Diana were welcoming and friendly. The Sunday school program is good too. I also loved the space, very beautiful. If you are church shopping I would recommend checking in out.
THE WORST CHURCH EVER!! IT IS A DISGRACE TO CALL THEM CHRISTIANS. If you plan on getting married at this church, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO IT! They will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING and never deliver what they promised. When we asked them about certain fees the administrator for the church could never give us a straight answer and kept saying "The fees are out of my control and is set by the church". We had our invitations sent out with the church as the place where our ceremony would be taking place. In the middle of May 2015 my fiancé and I went with his parents (who were visiting us and going to see the church for the first time) to show them the church and possibly look at using their fellowship room to host our rehearsal dinner. When we went there we saw the back wall with the big glass sainted window was covered in scaffolding. We then went and talked to the administrator who was clueless about everything. He said that they were cleaning the stained glass window and then when we asked him when the project would be done he said he did not know. We got an email from the administrator at 5PM that day saying there was nothing he could do (yet again) and that the stain glass window project would take 6 months. Now, here I am a bride that is getting married in less that 45 days and we have to change the venue for our ceremony and have to notify all 250 guests in all of our vendors of this change. Calvary Episcopal Church is a disgrace and an utter failure. Their level of professionalism is disgusting because there is none and I would send all of them back to school to get training on how to communicate. If anyone is remotely trying to get married here, DO NOT DO IT. Save yourself a lot of trouble and a lot of stress and do not go with them. You are better off- no matter how gorgeous the church looks (which is really is) but it is such a shame that the church is filled with incompetent idiots like the people we had to deal with. So brides and grooms, do not book with them- they are not worth your time or effort, let alone a dime that you would have to spend on them. I would not want any of the stress that I am going through right now to happen to any couple
